The prophecy of these times
is found in Daniel 9:27.
For the sake of this study
the prince in verse 27, is assumed to be the prince which is to come from verse
26. The evidence shows this to be so with the modern prophecies lining up.
(Not as some think, that he
is the Messiah Prince, as he was killed end of week 69 by the people of the
prince which is to come. These lines of thinking tend to also assume the second
coming of Jesus Christ is completed also.)
As pieced together the final
week starts with a covenant made with the many.
This lines up with the treaty
made at the end of conflicts with the king of the south in Daniel 11:27.
An interesting note of the two
verses with the same number of
Daniel 11 gives us more
information about this treaty. That it is one where both of them lie to each
other at the same table and seek to deceive the other, perhaps even into some
sort of trap. For it says this will not happen, because the end is to come at
the appointed time. Which means they cannot speed it up as the Islamic leader

And in the timeline of things
to come, the rest of Daniel 11 puts forth various major events. I am not here
to point to these at this stage, but to point out the major milestones which
coincide with Daniel 9:27 and the covenant known by many believers as the PEACE
TREATY.
It also comes to light that
the timing of this with other prophecies fulfilled in Daniel 11:21-24, with
cross reference to Revelation 9 with the 5th and 6th Trumpets, that the major
war of the 6th will demand a peace treaty. The following chapter after the 6th
Trumpet is chapter 10. Chapter 10 has a little scroll which is given by an
angel with one foot on the land and one foot on the sea. It is sweet in the
mouth, but bitter in the stomach after it is swallowed. (see Revelation 10 Angel)
There are so many general
metaphors on this one. To be able to stomach something means to be able to put
up with the situation. To not stomach it, will mean it will be upsetting,
causing an indigestion.
It stands to reason the idea
of peace will be sweet. But the deception of the lies with this covenant of
joining the two forces, is as different as chalk and cheese. As different as
oil and water, as different as land and sea. Even at iron and clay from
Daniel’s account of Nebuchadnezzar’s statue dream in Daniel 2:42.
There is more to this as
angel of Revelation 10 is very much similar to the angel of Daniel’s visions.
And this angel like the one in Daniel 12:7 swears as he also does in Revelation
10:5-6, with his hand raised towards heaven. The angel swears that there WILL
BE NO MORE DELAYS.
To those who have looked at
understanding Daniel’s 70 weeks, they know that there is a delay between the
69th and 70th. The measurement of a year is a lunar year of 12 x 30 day months
to be 360 days. The time frame has been a long one, from 31AD to now in 2006 is
2003 lunar years and a half. This is just over 1974 and a half regular gentile
years of 365.25 days.
The days can be calculated
and converted for complete accuracy between Passover 31AD and now. But that is
besides the factors to be discussed here and would be another section looking
for patterns. (see Days Patterns Between Dates)
But to go furthermore with
the angel of Revelation 10, he says in verse 7, that now the mystery of God is
complete. This is in the time between the 6th Trumpet and the 7th Trumpet. This
is also pointing to the same terminology given by the angel to Daniel in 9:24
where he says to SEAL UP VISION and PROPHECY. The same word for SEAL is also to
complete or even fulfil in this context. So the timing of these things seems to
overlay the New Testament over Old Testament to reveal the synchronization of
these events. However like most things of deeper insight, it is much harder to
explain with words than to “Feel” a “knowing” it is correct.
In the need to save time and
get this out ASAP, I will not repeat other works I have done, and will paste
them here.
The final 7 years is divided
into two parts of 42 months each. That is mentioned in prophecies many times
with 1260 days (30 x 42) and also as three and a half years, and also as time, times
and half a time.
The final 7 years of bible prophecy is
divided into two time periods of 42 months. This is the first period.
At this time there will be several things
which will happen, the bible says that there will be delay no longer
(Revelation 10:6), and that the mysteries of God will be revealed (Revelation
10:7), to those who have insight, and these will give understanding to many
(Daniel 11:33).

The beginning of this
first 42 month period has the following events occur… 1.
Peace
Treaty in the Middle East. (Daniel 9:27, Revelation 10) 2.
The
Temple is measured for being rebuilt in Jerusalem (Revelation 11:1) 3.
The
Two Witnesses start their prophesying for 42 months (Revelation 11:3) (Daniel
11:32-35) |

The following events happen during
this first 42 months time period… 1.
The
Two Witnesses tell of these events fulfilling prophecy (Insight &
Understanding) 2.
The
Two Witnesses have divine protection from those who desire them harm
(Revelation 11:5) 3.
The
Two Witnesses have authority and power to do signs and inflict plagues
(Revelation 11:6) 4.
The
beast will show regard to those who forsake the treaty (Daniel 11:30) 5.
Some
of those with insight will fall in order to purge and purify them (Daniel
11:32-35) 6.
The
Temple's regular sacrifice is put to an end (Daniel 9:27, 12:11) |

42 month period has the following events occur… 1.
A
Fatal wound to the Beast (most likely assassination attempt) (Revelation
13:3) 2.
The
Beast from the abyss possesses the leader (Revelation 11:7, 13:14) 3.
Fatal
wound healed (Revelation 13:3) 4.
Two
Witnesses are killed by the Beast and their bodies not buried but put on
display (Revelation 11:7-9) 5.
The
Beast Starts the Final 42 Months and it's final reign (Revelation 11:7, 13:5) |

this final 42 months time period… 1.
The
Two Witnesses are raised from the dead and called to heaven (Revelation 11:11-12) 2.
The
Beast and the False Prophet perform signs and wonders to deceive the world
(Revelation 13:12) 3.
The
saints which do not flee the wilderness are persecuted (Revelation 13:7) 4.
The
abomination of desolation is set up, the image of the Beast in the holy place 5.
All
who do not worship the Beast or his image are put to death (Revelation 13:15) 6.
The
Mark of the Beast is put forward that none can buy or sell unless they have
it (Revelation 13:16-18) |

The end of this final
42 month period has the following events occur… 1.
Jesus
Returns on the clouds of heaven with the armies from heaven 2.
Jesus
throws the beast and the false prophet into the lake of fire (Revelation
19:20) 3.
The
rest of the armies are killed by the word (sword) of Jesus' mouth (Revelation
19:21) 4.
Jesus
starts His 1000 years of Peace Reign |
